If physical education is to deal effectively with social, emotional and personality problems of boys and girls, those with specific needs must be identified. From the standpoint of the maturity and stature of the profession, such action is most unfortunate. Recognizing that practical limitations frequently must be placed on testing in schools and colleges, perhaps the dilemma may be resolved by advocating two or more levels of testing--from minimal to ideal measurement practices.
Hopefully the present book will be useful for the students of physical education and sports sciences and other related courses. (jacket)
