Mizo District Council: Power Exercised Under Sixth Schedule

The book is divided into three chapters. The first Chapter is an introductory part wherein the range of socio-economic and political consciousness among the Mizo people is discussed at the grass roots level. The second Chapter is wholly a collection of Acts; Rules and Regulations formulated by the Mizo District Council within eighteen years of its existence. The last Chapter is the finishing division dealing with how far the newly popular government exercised the powers conferred by the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India.
