Narratology: Indian Perspectives

Though India has a rich narrative tradition, it has not been perspectivised in the light of contemporary developments in Narratology. The present volume, the proceedings of a two-day international seminar conducted at Calicut University examines the narratological percepts and practices of the vast subcontinent. The papers collected shows the amazing range of narratological heritage of ancient India as gleaned through Indian literatures, fine arts and literary theory.
