Globalisation, primarily an economic phenomenon, involves the increasing interaction or integration of national economic systems through the growth in international trade, investment and capital flows. Further, looking ahead it appears to be more widespread and becoming a fact of business life. The organization will succeed or fail on the basis of their ability to deal with the dynamic global environment. In the global economy, after US financial crisis, a new world economic order is being formed and will soon emerge to shape future business conduct. As with any crisis, organizations and individuals are presented not only with present dangers requiring immediate action, but also unforeseen opportunities for strategic repositioning to fit tomorrow\'s realities. To help businesses prepare for and compete successfully in this turbulent environment, this book is a compilation of the papers received for an International conference on the focal theme of New global economic order: challenge and opportunities (ICNGEO 09) during August 19-20, 2009, after double blind fold review process.
