The existence of human rights NGO movement sans any political and economic control is cardinal. Every individual and every organ of the society shall strive to protect these rights and promote these values and principles as protection of human rights is the only hope which can save this world form annihilation.

Due to the globalization a shift, i.e. from human rights NGO movement to human rights NGO market has been noticed. This shift form philanthropist to economic actor or more precisely sophisticated beggars is the result of the unequal distribution of capital. As the resources could not be generated form the effected people, NGOs have the compulsion to revert to the traditional donors. No fund no existence is the basic reason for the commoditization of human rights and above all of human sufferings.

The present book deals with the evolution of NGO movement and protection of human rights. This book highlights the working of various national and international NGOs. (Jacket)
