Brought out for commemorating the 65th Plenary (26th-27th May 2016) of the North Eastern Council, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Govt. of India, Shillong. Meghalaya, this book portrays the achievements of NEC engaged in the all round development of the North Eastern India.

Over the past 45 years, NEC has tried to contribute wherever there is people’s need and requirement. From health to education, sports to culture, roads and bridges to power generation and distribution, every sector that needed support found NEC intervening with the right policy and plan. In a quiet manner, NEC has brought in development into the lives of the people.
