Nursery production practices and orchard management including canopy manipulation is essential to achieve optimum productivity with production of high quality fruits. The Government of India has started a national programme to supply clean planting material to the fruit growers and provided sufficient logistic support and financial assistance with the aim to provide disease free true-to-type high quality planting material. On the other hand, the orchard management is interdependent subject where associated architectural advances play an important role to produce competitive products with desired quality traits. The second volume of this book exclusively deals with Temperate and Sub-tropical Fruits.
