Through these searing portrayals the author tries to explore the implications of acts of hate undertaken in the name of religion and politics. As the novel moves towards its thrilling conclusion, we are left wondering what a tangled web of suffering we weave when we first practise to hate. and how many barriers we can break down when we love.
