The word \'fit\' is used loosely in other ways. You might remark to a delivery man that he must be fit if he had just delivered a dozen heavy cases. In fact the word \'fit\' may be loosely used to mean \'able to do a physical task easily\'. However, for most people the one quality of the task that attracts the label \'fit\' is that of endurance--physical work sustained over a period of time. Somebody who runs for five minutes to catch a bus may be described as fit, while somebody who runs for three to four hours in the marathon may be called Super-Fit. The word \'fit\' is also used to describe someone\'s appearance, as in \'You Look Fit\'.
