Writing skills help the learner gain independence, comprehensibility, fluency and creativity in writing. If learners have mastered these skills, they will be able to write so that not only they can read what they have written, but other speakers of that language can read and understand it.
This book focuses on the skills that you require when you write in English. When you listen, speak, read or write, you need knowledge of English works and grammar, these features of language are not exact to writing and it is not the main endeavour of this book to get them better. Our main aim is to help pupils to put sentences together so that things that they write will be easy to read and understand.
We believe that students gain knowledge of a lot by working together in groups to solve a problem or make a decision. We feel that learners should split their knowledge, evaluate their opinions, and discuss their thoughts in small groups before going on to class work or individual work. The directions for each exercise include suggestions about ways of working with the material.
