Principles of Curriculum Development

The concept of curriculum is not very old. It was developed in the Western Countries especially in America during the First World War. Previously it was called syllabus but now every activity that takes place in the School as a result of the interaction between the students, the teachers and the management is covered by the term curriculum. The curriculum should be developed with the cooperation of the teachers, educational administrators and the parents.
