Education of teachers not only facilitates improvement of school education by preparing competent committed and professionally well qualified teachers who can meet the demand of the system but also functions as a bridge between schooling and higher education. India possesses one of the largest systems of teacher education which has come under considerable pressure as a result of the expansion and growth of school education through efforts like Universalization of elementary education. After implementation of right to education RTE act the crises of competent teachers has increased manifold.
