Rethinking Romanticism

Rethinking Romanticism includes essays and articles which emerged as the result of a year-long Project undertaken by the Department of English, The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata. The volume offers novel insights into English Romanticism by academicians, researchers and scholars from India and abroad as they engage in a renewed exploration of the Romantic period in English literature from diverse literary and cultural perspectives. It also provides studies in the counter-discourse to the mainstream understanding of Romanticism from the Orientalist point of view. Conceptualized in order to further studies in and around Romanticism, this volume puts forth a collection of emerging research approaches and critical perspectives towards Romanticism.
