Till date the archaeologists and art-historians have written a lot about the excavations done at time to time at ancient Nalanda Mahavihara and the images recovered during the excavations which were preserved in various museums but still more than hundred sites are unreported and hundreds of images are scattered in various villages. The book is based on those sites having archaeological importance which were reported during village-to-village survey by the author during 2012-2015 and also gives a detail report about the scattered images in the district and its vicinity. This book is a humble attempt to attract the attention of archaeologists and art-historians.
