Scout Games

"The present book entitled Scout Games is devoted to scout games; a volume of cub games will form a companion book. From the original book, 84 games have been proved unattractive in practice. No fewer than 279 new items have been added--these are purposely not called "new games" since there are, strictly speaking, no new games under the sun; all are variations of long established patterns, but a new way of playing an old favorite is as stimulating as something entirely original. This book contains 585 entries; if the variations suggested to some are counted, the reader will here find over 600 games-activities for use and enjoyment.

Hopefully, the present book will be very useful for the students of physical education and sports sciences, teachers, instructors and for the sports enthusiasts." (jacket)
