The present book entitled “Social Exclusion, Marginalisation and Deprivation in Manipur” is based on research papers presented at ICSSR sponsored Two-Day International Seminar held at Manipur University in 2015 organised by the Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, Manipur University. There is acute lack of literature on social exclusion, marginalisation and deprivation in the Northeastern States of India in general and Manipur in particular causing much difficulty among the students, teachers and researchers. The present book will be able to fill up some of the gaps and also enrich the literature on social exclusion, marginalization and deprivation.
