From the Preface: Sociology of Education is written in the context of different responses of students in reacting to their environment from an early age. This is a psycho-social aspect of a learner, while inheriting from society the beginner. The education that students receive should allow them to live fuller, richer, and more fruitful lives. Such a goal is ultimately the bedrock upon which we build and justify our careers as educators and sociologists.
