English version of Gitanjali took Rabindranath Tagore to dizzy heights. Para 1 of the foreword on this book are factual ones. In scheming the book this author has faithfully inserted each of the 103 pieces of the English version for ready reference of the readers before piece by piece tracing of their likely source in the Principal Upanishads. Vast majority of the readers being not familiar with the ancient Sanskrit may find a great relief from the annotated reference by this author as accurately as possible. Now it is the turn of the readers to evaluate the work and say how much ingenious was Gitanjali. To this author it was a huge task to closely screen the Vedas to work out this little \'Source of Gitanjali\'. Quite a few of the pieces e.g. XI LXXIII cut into the vitals of Vedanta. There are many others with glaring inconsistency and venture.
