Sarojini Naidu was a fire brand nationalist and poet. When she entered the politics the social and political milieu had undergone radical change. Her public utterances on various plateforms are all characterised by an intense patriotism and a desire for national upheaval. As a feminist she would appear to have spoken in two voices, one through her poetry and the other as public figure.
