"The present book entitled Sports Dictionary is a humble effort by the author to meet the subject in a very easiest way. The goal of the present study is to present various terms and definitions of sports and its related branches in a simple and easily understandable manner. Throughout the preparation of the present work, the guiding objective has been to make it useful for students, sportsperson, athletes, coaches, teachers, instructors, students of physical education and sports and other concerned with the meaning of sports terms.

This reference book is precisely arranged alphabetically, the sports terminologies are printed in bold face while its meaning are given under the respective terminology.
