"In the whole gamut of small industry promotion, entrepreneurship development, which may be called human resource development, is a pivotal factor. Its nature being such, it can grow and be developed only over a period of time. It needs organization, motivation, training and sustained institutional support.
Three principal factors which are vital for economic development in terms of employment-generation, utilization of human and physical and material resources and empowerment of women are stressed in the present volume.
