"This book has addressed the age old problem of parent-child relationship from a new dimension i.e., quality of parent-child relationship. Staying with children for a longer time and/or providing materialistic items or fulfilling all demands does not necessarily mean that parents are giving quality time to their children. During adolescence close relationship with parents is important since this relationship function as model or template that is carried forward over time to influence the construction of new relationships in future. However, in reality a good number of adolescents develop tremendous conflict over various issues with the parents.
