Tai Phakes A Historical and Cultural Study is a work on the history and culture of the Tai Phake people of Assam with special attention to their original home, migration, tradition and culture, the transition in the context of present day globalization. This work is a sincere effort to document their rich culture, which has been silently contributing to the formation of the greater Assamese and Indian society. The book is arranged and divided into nine chapters with an Introduction and an Epilogue and a bibliography, 7 numbers of appendices, 16 numbers of maps and 36 numbers of photographs.
