The Art Heritage of Nalanda

This book is an attempt to prove that the art of Nalanda should be named after the place not by any dynasty or kingdom because Nalanda has some its own identity in the field of art. Its impact could be seen not only on other Indian art but also on the Northern and South-East Asian country’s art form. The illustrations given in the book are mostly scattered images seeking conservation and preservation. The book is the output of three years rigorous exploration done in the district and its peripheral area by the author. (jacket)
