"The Great Andamanese are one of the four Negrito Tribes of Andaman Islands. Probably, it is the smallest tribe of the world. It is on the verge of extinction and has very little chance of retaining its age-old culture. The present book is a product of intensive fieldwork conducted among the Great Andamanese of Strait Island.
