The Ocean of Buddhist Wisdom, Volume 8 is an anthology of the selected research papers presented in English and Pali languages through Roman Script by the scholars in the 12th Annual Conference of the Indian Society for Buddhist Studies (ISBS) held at the Doon University, Dehradoon (November, 2012).

The ISBS provides a common academic platform to the researchers and teachers working on various aspects and branches of Buddhist studies and hence the varieties of essays in the present volume. Efforts have been made to measure literary (Pali, Sanskrit, Prakrit, Chinese, Tibetan, Apabhramsha etc.) Philosophical, cultural, social, managerial  Medicinal and such other perspective of multi-faceted, multi-coloured and multi-dimensional Buddhism in the present volume.
