This book is about the author's journey through the development and resolution of a personal crisis. The poems reflect the state of his mind as his soul-searching leads him through guilt and shame, followed by a sense of despondency and clearly defined mental depression.  The book outlines his journey from despondency to liberation in poems written over a year and presented here in chronological order.
