This book deal with late 18th and early 19th century world, when history was being made by Wellington and Napoleon, the two great military strategists.
Wars with Tipu Sultan and Maratha made Wellington the hero of Waterloo and not the playgrounds of Aton as is generally claimed. The book also throws new light on Napoleon’s exploits during the above period.
It is an interesting life history of the ‘fool of family’ becoming renowned military general and a statesman.
