To Sir With Love and National Curriculum

The book is an analytical study of imparting education the approach, method and technique as adopted by the Headmaster and the protagonist (teacher) of the novel To Sir With Love. The study is carried out in the light of National Curriculum Framework 2005 published by NCERT, Delhi. The Headmaster’s principles and ideology and the teacher’s method and techniques sometimes run parallel with the core issues contained in the National Framework. Sometimes when classroom situations demand the teacher needs to go beyond the propositions of the framework.
