The need of enhancing the capacity or technical skill amongst the farmers, rural youths, farm women and extension professionals have increased in recent years due to changing scenario of world agriculture. Keeping this need in mind, the authors have been encouraged to write a book on Training Methodology : In Extension Education which provides basic concepts, with the explanation, principles and strategy for designing good and effective training programmes. In the new millennium, the knowledge revolution has brought tremendous changes in information technology. The training inputs cannot remain constant because of the dynamic pace of change.
