Itsability to interact synergistically with other period ontalpathogens on several levels; itsability to produce cytotoxic metabolites; and its ability to form biofilms and a range of cell-surface proteins todys regulate the host defense tohelp protect the subgingival biofilm and cause host tissue destruction.
