Yuddha to Buddha: Roadmap of India\'s Security

India is land of Buddha, Ashoka and Gandhi. The elimination of war is one of the cherished ideals and expectations of the age. War is the last option for survival but our path is not that of war but that of Buddha. India is turning from Yuddha and moving towards Buddha. It is demand of the time that to strengthen national security all round development needs a disciplinary approach. It is better to prepare for the best and be ready for the worst. Anything can happen in national and international politics and such situation needs to be handled with maturity keeping in view our national interest. It is nice to think what Mrs. Margaret Thatcher said "No matter how well prepared you are, the unexpected happens, because it is unexpected, but there is no substitute of common sense." The book is an attempt to look at the interface of security, spirituality and philosophy of war and peace in changing and challenging strategic milieu.
